In the wind there was snow.

With the snow there was blades of ice.

Then in a few hours there was a truck.

The truck  slid on the blades of ice and the driver said “grow up he said just grow.”

Then the truck went to its side and the driver now hates ice twice as much as rice.

Then the truck got back up with the help of the driver and some trucks.

Because of the blades of ice the tires had no air.

The driver had to walk 50 miles to get to the nearest tire store but it was closed up for the winter because of the ice.

The driver broke in to get warm then head back to his truck.

After the driver got warm he is wanted because of him breaking into a store.

So the driver tried to get back to his truck at night.

At night he did get back to his truck.

Then he forgot to bring back the air pumper for is tire.

So he went back to the store.

And that’s when he gets caught.

So then the driver went to jail.

Then he rotted in jail.

theme the effects of war

Author's note: This piece is about my theme in my book The people of Sparks. I wrote this to demonstrate my understanding of theme.

 How would you feel if your village caught on fire all because of the villagers? What if you had to move into the empty lands? The People of Sparks, by Jeanne DuPrau, is about the people form Ember living in a hotel at the edge of a village. The people of Sparks made them work for food, they also poisoned them with poison ivy. Then the people of Ember started a war with the Sparks people. The effects of war is the main theme in my book.

            Because of war the lives of the people of Sparks were changed. One way that the lives changed  is that their most powerful weapon exploded and that got a tree on fire. That small fire got on another tree. Then the fire got to the village and people tried to put it out but it spread too quickly. So the village burned down. Because of the fire the people of Sparks had to move to find another city to live in so there start over again.     

            The war not only affected the people of Sparks, but also the people of Ember. It affected the people of Ember because the war started a fire and the fire burned down the whole village. So all of the people have to move into the empty lands with nothing to feed them or for them to drink. That made all of the people angry at everyone. Even the people on their side.

                                 

             The effects of war have a huge impact on people and the results can be good event like getting rid of an enemy is a good thing. Sometimes a bad effect happens like your village is burned down because of your people. So the war affects everyone on both sides no matter what the outcome is.

Chapter 1

The dragon trap

Once upon a time there was a prince named Ben. His princess is named Buddy. On March 20^th the princess told the prince “We have to leave prince island because a dragon will be arriving in 5 days.” Right away the prince packed his yugioh cards, his throne, his books, his pokemon cards, and finally his bakugan stuff. In 3 hours they were ready to leave prince island together.

On the path to the boat they realized that the dragon got to prince island 4 days sooner than excepted. So instead of leaving prince island the prince ran towards the west to his back up boat where they will escape, but the princess ran north towards the tower for her protection. When the prince realized they got separated he knew he could not go back because he saw the dragon there on the top of the tower where the princess is. Then he went to knight island to train, but he was ruler of that island as so he sent 10 knights instead to fight the dragon instead. The first night and the ninth night said “Do I really need to fight the dragon for a prince and get nothing in return, maybe I’ll keep the princess to myself.” The other nights were already to the castle ready to fight the beast. At the same time the princess thought “will I ever get rescued.”

                                                Chapter 2

The prince trap and the prince escapes

Then the prince thought I should rescue the princess. For 6 days he went through knight training. When he was ready he took a boat, but the was a trap by the people who released the dragon. After the trap the prince was taken to capture island. While the prince was there he was thinking “maybe I could use my sword and swing it back and forth over and over again until the dragon died.” Over by the entrance the leader told the guard “the prince may go, but if he goes make sure he doesn’t rescue the princess.” At the same time the lock feel from the prince room. First the prince ran as fast as he could trying to find the exit but he accidentally ran into the guard. Second he ran away from the guard. Third he got a boat back to prince island.

                                      Chapter 3 

                                  The death of the fake prince

Once the prince got back he fought the dragon, but straight before he almost killed the dragon. The dragon told the prince “I am going to set you on fire right now.” Then the dragon killed the prince. At the same time the princess kissed the dragon and that broke the curse the real prince is set free. The prince wonders where did the fake prince go. At the capture island the fake prince was sent to 4 years here. Now the prince kidded the princess and they all lived happily ever after. 

the prediction of the ghost the white house and me

          Could you imagine seeing Abraham Lincolns ghost in the White House? Also feeling a strange flow of energy by the ghosts while in the White House?  In the book “The Ghost The White House and Me” by Judith St. George, Kay’s family lives in the white house. Kay’s dad thought he saw Abraham Lincoln’s ghost. Kay is trying to find the 16^th president’s ghost. I predict that Kay will see the ghost of Abraham Lincoln.

 The first reason I believe she will see the ghost is because Kay felt a strange flow of energy during a mysterious night. Kay’s dad also felt the strange flow of energy in Lincoln’s bed room.  By the ghost of Abraham Lincoln.

The second reason I believe this will happen because Kay saw Abraham Lincolns picture watching her in a hallway. While she is going to Lincolns bedroom with a light for Annie. 

Towards the end on Friday Kay, Annie, 2 other friends are sleeping in the same room where Abraham Lincoln got killed. On the same bed were he got killed.

It is obvious that my prediction is coming more true towards the end. First at the beginning a strange flow of energy was felt. Second Kay, Annie , and 2 other friends are sleeping in the same room were Abraham Lincoln got killed. Third Kay saw the picture of him move. That’s why I predicted Kay will see the ghost of Abraham Lincoln.

Mr. Mason jars Prediction

I predict that troy will never talk much again because it happened to another kid before and Mr. Mason hates taking kids. Mr. Mason was trying to stop very talking kids from talking with a jar. I also predict that Mr. Mason will regret doing that to troy because he said he was his favorite teacher and he was having 2nd thoughts about what he was doing.


I was right about Mr. Mason he did regretted whet he did because he put troys talking back into him with a jar.

Time traveler

                                                                              Time travel

             What would you do during the journey? Would you go on another journey? That’s what happened in my book, “The Time Machine”. The time traveler goes on a time travel journey and on the way he influences many characters in the future.  While looking for his time machine he fought morlocks who were meat eaters and saved a little girl from being eaten alive. He also started a fire to keep him and the little girl safe and secure  from the morlocks. The time traveler changes in many ways.
            One way the time traveler changes is by not being afraid to fight the morlocks that hide in the dark. He changed his fear of the morlocks by lighting a match and setting one of morlocks common places, the forest,  on fire. It all went down. He sounds smart by willing to risk his life to find the morlocks home and to study the them. He nearly died when saving a little girl because the morlocks almost got the time traveler and the little girl at an entrance to the morlocks home.                
         The time traveler’s fear of the morlocks came back. He nearly got eaten by them when they were on his time machine. He accidentally  went further into the future and then got scared of a large crab. He did not expect that in a lifeless future. He still fought  the morlocks after coming back to the future to save the little girl again.
        The time traveler influenced a lot of the characters by proving that you can time travel. Another character he influenced is a little girl by saving her life from the morlocks and coming back to save her again the same way. He also influenced the villagers of the future by fighting the morlocks at night.

What I would tell the America founding fathers

There are many things that I learned about the America’s founding fathers history. The four I found most interesting are George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin, and John Adams. I found them interesting because they played a major part in America’s history.

In 1776 Thomas Jefferson made the Declaration of Independence to make peace with the world. Thomas Jefferson is that he served  in the House of Delegates. He made the Louisiana purchase because he wanted more land to control. He also development of a new government for the 13 colonies.

George Washington, who was our first president of the United States of America for 2 terms. Now because he was president for 2 terms any president after him can only be in the white house for 8 years. Years later the presidency was divided into Republican and Democratic because of that rule.

         

Ben Franklin discovered electricity in 1752 by using a damp kite and a metal key when lightning struck the kite and shocked him. He also made the lightning rod to protect his house and other houses from being struck from lightning. He also helped write the first U.S constitution for the laws.

         

John Adams was part of a major accomplishment to keep America out of war with France and normalize relationships with the 2 countries. He also fought for America’s Independence. Also was chosen to be commander in chief in the continental armies.

The founding fathers started the basic stuff that our country kept                                                                                                                                                                                                                            on growing on in the future.  That basic stuff we keep on improving on every single day from now on till the end or until we loss the stuff the founding fathers got the country.  For example Ben Franklin discovered electricity with lightning and Thomas Jefferson got us our freedom from France’s control. That’s what I would tell the America founding fathers.
